When my heart needs uplifting, when my soul hungers for hope, when I hear the shrill cries of those who worship victimhood, esteeming its worthlessness, I read your words, listen to your voice and look at the wondrous illustrations with which you decorate and emphasize your message. Then, my heart blooms and my soul is nourished and the sound I hear is that of coming victory on that day when we find our true and virtuous selves, when we rise up and honor our heritage and our God. Happy Easter. He is risen. Christ is king.
Rise like the Phoenix from the ashes is also a nice Easter metaphor and this year on a fitting date! Always like to read or especially hear your insights!
Parts of your brilliant essay remind me (a bit) of the thesis of Etienne de La Boetie on the public withdrawing their assent to the rule of unjust tyrants. Your piece is far superior. Thank you, Asha
I think that our enemy is not beyond hope of redemption. I believe true nobility hinges upon one's value of human life and trust in the power of light to overcome darkness even when severely outnumbered or outgunned.
I think our enemies are men, and while they have been taught a set of morals that is alien to our own instincts, I believe that even they experience awe and admiration at feats of bravery and respect for selfless sacrifice.
We will win this, not by beating them at their own game, nor by sinister genius, but by appealing to the inherent good inside the heart of our enemies. Light is powerful, it can hold its own. Our job is to make the distinction clear.
How do they say, first only a little and then all at once?
I'd say the next hundred years will be a true test, but one that we'll be able to pass, freed from the constraints our own institutions put on us for the last seventy years. The Western, global order will crumble and then we'll have to prove that we as the European, the Aryan people, still have the will to claim our place.
Your high-mindedness is an inspiration!
